How does that work?

When goods are sold by the clock, a fixed amount of freshly delivered produce is offered immediately for sale to potential customers. The direct confrontation between supply and demand determines the price that we as growers receive for our products. In this way, fresh products can be despatched immediately, and that is very important for the various types of products whose quality suffers if they are kept in stock or stored for a long time.

Sometimes we also sell via intermediary. This means negotiating with potential customers about price and quality, and sales are often made for a specific deadline.
