Most leafy vegetables, like lettuce or endive, are pre-chilled to 4 to 6°C.

Fruiting vegetables such as tomatoes or cucumbers prefer 11°C.

We also grade our fruit once it is picked, and immediately store it in chillers at the auction, where it is stored under optimum conditions.

We have separate moisture flow systems for strawberries and other soft fruit, which chill the fruit more quickly and store it in higher humidity.
